Another page down. 2426 reps/calories plus a bunch of extra reps not counted just cuz. I’ve added running and interval work on rowing and bike. Easily doing double unders in workouts…finally. Missed a much needed massage this week but scheduled with a different guy for next week. Regular stretching and rolling out has to be augmented with a massage person who understands what I’m doing and what I’m trying to accomplish. Repair and prevention. Another page of effort complete. No PRs as this block was mostly a de-load week which followed a very tough last session. I needed rest. We forget how integral rest is in development but ever hard effort in the gym needs to be followed with rest, clean eating and supportive supplements to help your body rebuild and improve. So diet has been dialed in (with one vacation bit of badness) for 12 weeks now. Training in the first part of 2014 was predominantly light weight with more cardio than I usually do. We’ve been on this Wendler’s 5-3-1 program for 12 weeks of consistent training. The biggest supplemental change that’s been made to my program is adding in AdvoCare’s Muscle Strength which is 2000 mg HMB and 200 mg SUMA. 1586 reps this week. Today was the first session of the final week of the second rotation of our 20 week 531 program. 🙂 say that three times fast. Making gains all around. What used to be my 1 rep max on back squats is now done for reps. Push down weight is chasing/pushing @m4munson Bench press weight is getting easier. Dead hang pull ups are frustrating because they aren’t getting easier but I’m getting heavier so there’s that. Checked body fat percentage the other day and was pleasantly surprised to be just under 17%. Side bend weight is also going up and I can’t get sore anymore. Feeling good.
