This is a lifting and life blog, but food is part of lifting.
On occasion, I’ll permit myself to post a recipe. We all know that brussel sprouts are awesome for you. We all also know that they can, if not prepared with a little care and thought, be not so yummy.
Here is a great recipe for awesome sauteed brussel sprouts.
Chop carrots, onions, bell pepper, mushrooms and set aside. Chop the stem stump off the brussel sprouts and also chop them in half.
Place all the veggies in a pan with 2-3 tablespoons of coconut oil and saute on medium-high heat for about 2 minutes. Then reduce heat to low and cover for 6-7 minutes, stirring once or twice.
Dish onto a plate containing a large amount of protein and “boom” you have a nutrient rich side of veggies for your muscle meal.
